How I've Found Meaning in Loss:
The pain of loss can be staggering, even debilitating. I'm a student of grief and not the text book kind, I am the real life, experiential learner kind of student.
If you're new to loss, you might ask, how ridiculous can you be to expect me to make meaning out of loss? What good can possibly come from this enormous emptiness I am consumed with?
These questions are valid and to be sure each step toward healing comes in it's own time and it's own way for each of us. There is no cookie cutter recipe or a one-size fits all solution.
The biggest realization for me was I have to live my best life to honour the efforts that my mom went through to get me here in the first place. Thanks for your resilience mom, you saved us both against the odds. Then there are my two amazing dad's, my grandma, auntie and my dear friends that left too soon who shaped me into the human I am today. Thank you for seeing my light and always beaming it back at me!
So here it is. I have had a facebook group called the Mysterious Silence and a business page called Rhythmic Waves Healing for eight years where I talk about my work. It's been evolving over the years from being a body worker, then adding in family and ancestral healing, next was to learn about how our nervous system develops and how interruptions (and resilience) in that field can stay with us for life and how we can build new neural pathways to overcome where we've been compromised.
Then there's the death, oh my gosh, the death toll kept rising and with that I decided to lean into my psychic skills and sharpen my mediumship connections with the spirit world. This is how I've found meaning in my losses. Evidential mediumship has brought me some deep comfort and what could be better than to share that gift with others.
